BOTOX
For cosmetic use, a doctor injects BOTOX into the facial muscles that cause wrinkling. The drug blocks a substance called acetylcholine and by blocking this substance effectively paralyzes the muscle. ArteFill is a gel filler consisting of millions of synthetic microspheres (polymethylmethacrylate or PMMA) suspended in purified bovine (cow) collagen. ArteFill also contains the local anesthetic lidocaine to reduce discomfort during injection.

Microderm abrasion is a procedure where the dead and outermost part of the skin (corneum) is partially or completely removed by light abrasion. Microdermabrasion is a system, where mechanical abrasion is done. It allows a jet of inert, natural, mineral crystals of zinc oxide or aluminum oxide crystals, to be brushed onto the surface of the skin where it abrades dry, dead or redundant cell tissue with little trauma.
